Our very own version of “SHARK TANK”, Decisia invites aspiring entrepreneurs to pitch that dream business idea. Step into the role of a CEO, present your product, outline market strategy and profit margins, and defend your vision before an esteemed panel of judges. Inspired by the spirit of entrepreneurial pitch forums, the event offers participants an opportunity to test their ideas, decision-making skills, and business acumen in a competitive environment.
Rules & Regulations
- Teams will register from the official Convolution website with their team name, email, phone no., and college name of each member in the group.
- Teams will comprise of active college students, with a minimum of 1 and maximum of 5 members in each team inclusive of the Team Lead.
- Teams may consist participants from same or different streams, same or different years,but not from different institutions
- Prelims will be held online, where participants have to submit a 2-minute elevator pitch and a presentation with a maximum of 6 slides (preferably in PDF).
- Participants can provide an additional executive summary (within 2 slides) of the B-plan.
- Finals will be conducted Offline. Teams Shortlisted for the Finals are to show up at the Venue, Teams in the Waitlist are advised to stay ready.
- Number of teams qualifying for finals: 10 (can change under exceptional circumstances).

Will there be any opportunities to showcase interdisciplinary projects?
Indeed. Though it is not an inter-college event, your team may consist members from different streams, years or even different institutes. Since inputs from multiple disciplines very much hold the chance to make your product more optimum & easy to access & hence, you might gain a better shot at revenue.
Can we bring prototypes, samples to enhance our pitch presentations?
Participants are encouraged to use prototypes or visual aids to enhance pitch presentations, providing clarity and engagement. However, it's crucial to ensure relevance, seamless integration, and confirmation of logistical requirements for a successful presentation.
Are there intellectual property or confidentiality issues to be considered?
Consider IP and confidentiality when sharing plans. Check event organizer agreements for information treatment. Mark materials as confidential and limit information dissemination. Seek legal counsel for IP protection if needed.
I have no idea about business or pitching but want to participate. How can I get started?
No worries! Start by brainstorming an idea you’re passionate about, team up with like-minded peers, and research basic business concepts like target market and revenue models. Focus on presenting your idea authentically—judges value creativity and potential. If you need guidance, feel free to reach out to our event leads.
