Rules & Regulations

  • This is a competitive programming event.
  • There will be two rounds: Prelims and Finals.
  • Prelims will be conducted online.
  • Top 30 participants will be selected for the on-site Finals.
  • Individual participation in both rounds (no teams).
  • There will be 5-6 questions of varying difficulty in each round, with a time limit of 2 hours.
  • Score per question will be based on difficulty, with ties between participants broken by time taken to solve.
  • Both rounds will be conducted on browser based online platforms.
  • Finalists are requested to carry their own laptops.

How will the finalists be chosen?

The participants of the Prelims will be ordered by their total score, with ties broken by time taken to solve. Top 30 participants in the leaderboard will be selected for the Finals.

When and where will the finals be held?

The final round would be held at the Central Computer Laboratory, Department of Electrical Engineering, Jadavpur University on March 29. Please plan your travel accordingly, and on-site parking will be available for your convenience. Looking forward to a successful event!

Will I have to carry a laptop for the final round?

Finalists are requested to carry their own laptops. Additionally, participants are also encouraged to ensure that their laptops are equipped with the necessary software and configurations for the competition. Please be advised to bring any specific peripherals or adapters that may be required for your devices.
